The Eagle pub in Cambridge, where the RAF and USA servicemen ate,drank, and wrote on the ceiling and walls with candle soot, lipstick, and other items, to write their units,squadrons etc...
FYI- in addition to the WWII stuff, this is where the discovery of the double helix DNA was announced to the world
