The Museum of the Forgotten Warriors.

For those who have not visited, or know about the Museum of Forgotten Warriors located in Marysville California, it is dedicated to the men and women of the military service past and present.  There are numerous displays of military memorabilia and personal items donated by past military personnel as well as current members and families of both.  It really is not a museum dedicated to war, but instead to the people who have served in war and peace time.  The museum had mainly personal items donated by individuals as well as some thing donated by groups or organizations.  There are items covering all the way from the revolutionary war to the present day on display. The museum is ever expanding and makes a great way to spend a few hours.  Dann Spear the curator is a walking encyclopedia and is willing to talk at length on what he knows.

I highly recommend visiting the museum in person, but at least check it out on its website.  http://www.museumoftheforgottenwarriors.org/  The museum has some items that you will probably never find in other museums.  An example is the EOD Bomb Suit shown below.
